Declaration

This has been a very long time coming.

Recognition is not always easy, understanding the connections, the inter-relationships between events and thoughts, thoughts and actions, actions and results. It can be hard but if you can understand them, and work with them, then you are dealing with genius - you are a genius.

I am either mad or a genius. My mind tells me that I am not mad; therefore I must be a genius. It’s the only logical conclusion I can draw. I haven’t invented anything, discovered a cure, or come up with any radical new groundbreaking theory, but my genius remains. My genius lies in another direction altogether; I know things and I feel things and I can see the connections that most people can’t or won’t. Madness? Genius? Is there a difference?

Perhaps we all have the capacity for genius, maybe it’s not about the number of active brain cells we have or our ability to absorb complex information - perhaps it’s far simpler than that.

Could it be that its there in us all, this opportunity to be great? Could it be that we just won’t let ourselves, won't set ourselves free to achieve the greatness? Is it simply that we feel threatened or frightened when we stray outside of our comfort zone? Is it all about the confines?

I reject the confines.
